I grew up in Newport, and currently live in Ward 1. However, I spent about half of my life living in Ward 2. My parents have resided in Ward 2 at Manning Terrace since 1981 and they grew up in Newport as well.

I ran for City Council in 2022 and since then have been gradually joining the different neighborhood associations to stay in the know as to what is happening at the Ward specific level that is impacting the health and well-being of the residents so that I can help them advocate for ways to improve their quality of life in Newport.

Ward 2 is very near and dear to my heart because I grew up there, it’s home to me, and my parents live there. I want to ensure that they are in the know as to what is happening at the City and Ward level that could affect them.
