Wine Tasting

Round two of our summer tasting series is set and Scott and I are happy to host at our place.

Date: Friday, July 17

Time: 6 to 9 pm

Place: 3 Greenough Place

The theme is Old World vs. New World, tasted completely blind. Same grape every round, classic European regions against bolder California and Australian styles, and you will not know which is which until the reveal. Guessing is half the fun.

We kick off at 6 with a welcome pour of bubbly or a bright white. You will get a scorecard to rate each wine on look, aroma, and taste, then we unmask the bottles after each flight to see who called it. Palate cleansers throughout. Once the tasting wraps, we set out heavy appetizers and desserts, leave the bottles open, and pour our favorites while we hang out.

Two things to bring: an assigned bottle of wine (about $25 to $35) and an appetizer of your choice.

We will then send you the name of your assigned wine with plenty of time to buy it, and we have made sure local shops carry every bottle.
