If you've ever wanted to learn about or practice composting in your home, then be sure to sign up TODAY as we partner with 11th Hour Racing, Eastern Rhode Island Conservation District and Black Earth Compost for this free curbside food scrap collection pilot program.

Running from Oct. 5th, 2025 - Oct. 2nd 2027, 1,500 Newportresidents are eligible for free weekly compost collection (a $149.99/yr value) and a curbside bin starter kit ($36 value).

Signups are expected to continue through December or while slots are still available.
