Message from City Recreation Department:
Last month, we invited the community to participate in a monthlong series of community events to reimagine Easton’s Beach. The feedback has been invaluable—and we’re just getting started!
At the final session on June 30th, our consultant team shared key takeaways from public input so far and revealed 4 early design concepts for the future of the beach.
From a single open-air pavilion to a pair of elevated structures connected by boardwalks, the concept designs are intended to provide a starting point for a final proposal.
But before we get there, we need YOUR voice!
This is a key midpoint in the planning process. Your feedback now will help refine the concepts and guide the next round of public engagement.
So please, head over to www.CityofNewport.com/FutureBeach and be sure to:

Surveys are expected to close on July 31st and the full planning process is expected to wrap up by late 2025, with a recommended plan going to the Beach Commission and City Council for potential funding and implementation.
As always, thank you for your input and we can't wait to see what comes next!
