Back by Popular Demand! As the last event was oversubscribed, Sandy & Maureen Neville have very kindly offered to again escort/drive a select number of TOH members to the Naval Base for the tour. They can each sponsor/drive 4 people so we have a total of 8 spots available.

An email will be sent to those confirmed noting Maureen and Sandys' home address as they will be driving everyone to the base.
Tour may be followed by lunch on the Club Terrace - beautiful views of the bay and the bridge - time/weather permitting.

Tradition has it that on a late October's day in 1884, Commodore Stephen B. Luce, USN, was rowed from the flagship of the North Atlantic Squadron anchored off Newport to Coasters Harbor Island two miles north of the center of Newport, a site designated earlier that month by the Secretary of the Navy for a new kind of college.
